Dr Roger Singh
Consultant Psychiatrist

Dr Singh qualified as a doctor in London from St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospital in 1996. He went on to train as a psychiatrist in the West of England.

Dr Singh also has a BSc in Psychology with Basic Medical Sciences. He has worked as a consultant psychiatrist in the NHS in a primary care Consultant Psychiatrist, within a community mental health team and within a rehabilitation service, assessing and treating adults with all common mental health problems, and within an early intervention in psychosis service in Gloucestershire.

Dr Singh has designed 3 ADHD services within the NHS. Dr Singh represented the London Deanery for the RCPsych, regionally and he has taught psychiatry to GPs and GP Trainees. Dr Singh has several publications in the field of PTSD and medical prescribing. He has responsibilities for training and development of medical students and psychiatry trainees in the South East of England. While Dr Singh has particularly skills in treating psychiatry disorders with the use of medication, he loves to use a holistic approach to treat everyone and he has recently completed a Foundation Course in Peer-supported Open Dialogue.

Dr Singh is adept at assessing and treating mental health problems which are experienced in adults of working age, but especially: ADHD Bipolar Disorder Depressive Disorders Anxiety Disorders (including OCD and PTSD) Psychosis and Schizophrenia (particular First episode Psychosis)
