Dr Vimal Mannali
Adult Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr Mannali is a Consultant Psychiatrist with 16years of post-registration experience, working in Mental Health within the NHS.
After completing his training in Core Psychiatry at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SABP), he did his Higher Specialist Training at West London Mental Health Trust (WLMHT), and has dual certification (CCT) in both General Adult and Old Age Psychiatry.
Dr Mannali has a keen interest in public mental health initiatives, as he holds post-graduate degree of Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Pittsburgh (USA).
Dr Mannali is an established and perceptive clinician who takes pride in providing a high quality of mental health care, with special interests in Adult ADHD, Medical Education and Digital Innovations in health care.
For his outstanding contribution to Post Graduate Medical Education, in his roles of AVATr Simulation Lead (Augmented-reality based platform) and Locality Tutor in Surrey, he was the national finalist for the prestigious award of RCPsych Educator of the Year in 2021.
He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals, written chapter on Simulation in a published textbook, and has done numerous presentations, workshops and chaired sessions at national and international conferences.
Dr Mannali lives in Surrey with his family and their adorable Golden Retriever. Outside of work, he loves a variety of pursuits like dinghy sailing, outdoor swimming, kayaking, playing percussion musical instrument and clay-pigeon shooting.
