Dr William Egbuna

Dr William Egbuna is a Consultant Psychiatrist with over two decades of experience across the NHS and independent sector, working in both adult mental health and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Alongside his broad psychiatric background, he has developed a strong specialist interest in adult neurodevelopmental assessment, particularly ADHD and Autism.

Dr Egbuna takes a holistic and thoughtful approach to care, integrating mental and physical health while considering the wider context of each person’s presentation. He is experienced in assessing adults with complex mental health and neurodevelopmental needs, including where ADHD and autism may overlap with anxiety, mood difficulties, trauma and other psychiatric presentations.

He is known for his calm, compassionate and balanced clinical style, and for working collaboratively to provide clear diagnostic opinions and tailored recommendations. His approach focuses on understanding the individual as a whole, helping adults gain clarity around their presentation and access the right support moving forward.

With additional training in international healthcare management, Dr Egbuna combines strong clinical expertise with a wider perspective on service quality and wellbeing.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and has a keen interest in football, chess, spirituality and philosophy.
