PAYING PRIVATELY
Booking and paying for your own care
You can book with us directly and pay for it yourself. There is no waiting list to join, no GP referral needed, and no insurer to ask. Your care is led by a consultant psychiatrist from your first appointment through to treatment.
This page helps you work out which appointment you need and what it will cost, before you get in touch.

THREE THINGS PEOPLE ASK FIRST
Which appointment do I need?
If you are not sure what is going on, start with a general psychiatric assessment. If you think it is ADHD, book the ADHD assessment. If you want to talk something through rather than be assessed for a diagnosis, start with the initial psychological assessment. If you pick the wrong one, we will say so before you pay.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book directly with us. If you have letters, reports or a summary of your medicines from your GP, bring them, as they save time in the appointment. With your permission we write to your GP afterwards so your records stay in one place.
What is the total cost?
The price you see is the price for that appointment. Most people need at least one follow-up, and medicines are charged separately by the pharmacy. Every fee we charge is on the price list, so you can add up your own likely total before you commit to anything.
HOW IT WORKS
1
Decide what you want to be seen for
Write down what has been happening, roughly when it started, and what you want to change. A few lines is enough. Bring any medicines you take, including ones you buy yourself. You do not need to know the name of a condition, that's our job.
2
Check the price of that appointment
Open the price list and find the appointment you want. Look at the follow-up price too, because most people have at least one. If Deep rTMS is what you are after, it needs its own assessment first, and the packages are priced separately.
FIVE THINGS TO ADD UP BEFORE YOU BOOK

-
The first appointment
-
At least one follow-up
-
Prescription charges, if you are likely to need medicine
-
Any report or form you need written, for work, university or court
-
Therapy sessions, if you want therapy as well as psychiatry

If money is the thing standing in the way, read the other two routes further down this page before you book.
3
Send us your details
Use the form at the bottom of this page and tell us which appointment you want, and whether you would rather be seen in Epping or online. If you are not certain which one to pick, say what is going on and we will tell you which appointment fits.
4
We confirm, take payment and book you in
We offer you a time with a consultant psychiatrist, confirm the fee in writing, and take payment before the appointment. You get a written confirmation with the date, the fee and what to expect. We reply within 48 working hours.

BEFORE YOU PAY
You might not have to

Paying yourself is the simplest route, but it is not always the cheapest one available to you. Two other routes lead to the same clinic and the same consultants, and it is worth ten minutes to check whether either fits before you spend anything.

If neither applies, come back here and book. Nothing on this page changes.
