Folasade Adesina Adewumi

Folasade Adewumi is a highly experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) and specialist ADHD and Autism assessor, with extensive experience working across children, adolescents, and adults. She delivers comprehensive, evidence-based neurodevelopmental assessments using recognised tools including ADOS-2, ADI-R, DIVA-5, ACE/ACE+, QbTest, and Conners scales.

Folasade is known for her calm, compassionate, and person-centred approach, supporting individuals to feel understood and respected throughout the assessment process. She brings strong expertise in clinical formulation, differential diagnosis, safeguarding, and risk assessment, and is skilled in translating complex clinical information into clear, meaningful feedback and reports.

Alongside her clinical practice, Folasade has held senior leadership roles within the NHS, contributing to service development, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary decision-making. She works collaboratively with families, GPs, psychologists, psychiatrists, and wider MDTs to ensure assessments are robust, ethical, and clinically defensible.
