Ruth Baker

Registered Mental Health Nurse and Autism Assessor

 

Ruth Baker is a Registered Mental Health Nurse with extensive experience supporting children and young people across mental health, CAMHS and learning disability services. She has particular expertise in mental health assessment, triage, risk assessment and management, safeguarding, and multidisciplinary working.

 

Ruth is passionate about providing compassionate, person-centred and recovery-focused care, working collaboratively with individuals, families and professionals to achieve positive outcomes. She is also trained in ADOS-2 and has experience supporting people with learning disabilities and autism.

 

Alongside her clinical practice, Ruth has a strong interest in leadership, service development and evidence-based practice. She is currently completing a Professional Doctorate in Nursing, further developing her expertise in research and improving mental health care.''
