Stella Ewonkem

Registered Mental Health Nurse

Stella is a dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with over eighteen years of experience working across a wide range of healthcare settings, including NHS community services, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), substance misuse services (SMS), and prison healthcare.

She is a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) and holds a Master's degree in Advanced Nurse Practice (ANP). Her advanced training enables her to provide comprehensive clinical assessments, prescribe medication safely, and deliver evidence-based, person-centred care.

A key focus of her practice is supporting individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She has experience working with children, young people, and adults with ADHD across CAMHS, community, and prison services. Stella is confident in assessing patients, developing individualised treatment plans, prescribing and monitoring ADHD medication, and providing education and ongoing support to patients and their families. She work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality care.

Stella's background in mental health and substance misuse has equipped her with the skills to manage complex clinical presentations, promote recovery, and support people with co-existing mental health and addiction needs. She is committed to maintaining high professional standards, continuous learning, and delivering compassionate care that improves patient outcomes.

Stella is passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their health goals through collaborative, evidence-based practice and strives to provide safe, effective, and holistic care while continuing to develop her expertise in advanced clinical practice and ADHD assessment and treatment.
