Uyi Akugbe is a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) and ADOS-2/ADI-R Certified Clinician with over six years of experience across NHS and independent healthcare services. He specialises in autism assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, with extensive experience conducting ADOS-2 and ADI-R assessments, applying DSM-5 diagnostic criteria, formulating clinical opinions, and producing comprehensive diagnostic reports.

Alongside his specialist neurodevelopmental work, Uyi has a strong background in community mental health, CAMHS, memory assessment, risk assessment, safeguarding, and multidisciplinary working. He is passionate about delivering compassionate, evidence-based, person-centred care and is committed to helping individuals and families access accurate, timely, and high-quality assessments.
